First release of draft events
OK, so I've managed to nail down some dates for at least four events so far, only 6 more to go !
We will be opening up the season at the Marriott St Pierre (Near Chepstow) in April, we go to the Players Club (Bristol) in June, the Rolls of Monmouth in July and back to the Marriot St Pierre for the Tour Championship in October, our traditional closing event.
Firm dates to follow soon, and news of other venues booked
Cheers !

2010 Season Update
Hi guys and girls
Just a quick update on how things are progressing with plans for next season.
I've had loads of useful feedback on Facebook, through the end of season questionnaire and by simply talking and phoning professional golfers like yourself, which is really helping me shape the 2010 schedule.
Its looking very much like a 'new' Celtic Pro Tour from now on, with events not only staged in Wales, but more English-based events too !
I've already opened up discussions with a number of clubs such as Studley Wood, Donnington Grove, The Vale (International Course), Magnolia Park and Cumberwell Park as a result of your suggestions, and hope to have the schedule finalised by the end of November.
Its looking like between £150 and £200 to enter the events, which will primarialy be staged on Thursdays and Fridays where possible, with the top 20% of the field getting paid. It is expected that the winner of each event will receive between £3,000 and £5,000.
The second day of each event will also have a'sweep' on offer for the lowest round of day two, and will be open to golfers who are outside the money prizes
As things develop, I will update this blog with more information.
Keep an eye out for this

Next Season
Ok, let's cut to the chase.
If I put up a prize fund, guaranteed, of £5,000 to the winner, and pay the top 20% of the professional field, and stage the event in the Bristol/Swindon area, near the M4, with entry at, say £150, for a 36 hole, two-day event, would you enter ? Would we get a field of 120 ? Come on, let me know
